All Crosby-Ironton 7th graders participated in a field trip on December 16th, which was organized and put on by the Wilderness Inquiry Team. Students participated in team building activities indoors that focused on respect, and they took a short drive to the Cuyuna Lakes recreation area to take a walk in the snowy woods. The Wilderness Inquiry Team travels the country with a focus to get young people outdoors and grants that they received covered the cost of the field trip. The Cuyuna Lakes Education Foundation (CLEF) paid for the transportation to and from the cuyuna recreation area.
