On Tuesday, April 16th and Wednesday, April 17th the EXPLORADOME from the Bell Museum of Natural History at the University of Minnesota will be a CRES. The EXPLORADOME is an immersive learning environment that inspires minds, using the latest in technology to make dynamic earth and space data come to life. This dome is a geodesic model 25 feet in diameter and 14 feet high. CRES students, K-6, will experience sessions including “Changes in the Sky,” ‘The Night Sky,” and “The Solar System” depending on their grade level under the leadership of an expert educator from the staff of the Bell Museum.
On Tuesday evening from 5-7 the general public will be offered the chance to participate in one of 4 half hour sessions of “Zoom! From Earth to the Edge of the Universe.” Cost is $5 per person. Pre registration is required though Community ED at 545-8822. Space is limited.
