The Cuyuna Lake Education Foundation (CLEF) fund drive has reached a major milestone. The Initiative Foundation committed to donate a $10,000 matching grant if CLEF could raise $10,000 in donations to their endowment. This target has been reached and the Initiative Foundation has deposited the $10,000.
The CLEF fund drive primarily contacted C-I alumni from the 40’s through the early 70’s. The response has been quite heartening as over $30,000(including the match) has been donated by these alumni. These donations will allow CLEF to provide more grants and impact more students.
The fundraising will continue as an ongoing part of CLEF’s mission to enrich the educational opportunities available to C-I students. The presence of quality schools is vital to our community as we look to the future. Our students deserve to be as academically well-prepared to pursue their life goals as we can provide. Thank you to all who have so generously supported CLEF.
