We Need YOUR help!
The Cuyuna Lakes Education Foundation (CLEF) was formed by volunteers to help ISD
182 fund educational opportunities that would not otherwise take place due to budget
cuts and changes to our local economy over the past several decades. The youth in our
schools are the future of our community. Our responsibility is to fund opportunities to enrich
their educational experience. Some may bring that knowledge back to the Cuyuna
Lakes community to sustain your business and the economy of future generations
CLEF has been able to contribute in several ways to our kids and community. Please
refer to the enclosed brochure for a listing of some of the grants for the schools. Our
process begins when educators submit grant applications. After rigorous board review,
funds are made available through the foundation to support these essential activities.
The real question is, “Can I do more than I do today to support educational programs
that are so valuable to our community?” As the brochure illustrates, there are benefits
to our schools and students that perhaps you hadn’t previously considered.
We are working hand in hand with the Initiative Foundation. They are a fund raising
facilitator that works with several 501©(3) non-profit organizations in Central Minnesota.
They have issued a challenge grant of $10,000 to CLEF. In order for us to receive
the grant, at least $10,000 must be raised in donations by Dec. 31, 2012. If we are
able to rise to this challenge every dollar you give will, in effect,
be doubled. Be assured that 100% of all contributions received will be utilized
by CLEF to support programs that enhance ISD 182 education and that these donations
are tax deductible.
Every single contribution, large or small, will make a difference. We rely entirely on
your generosity. You can make a difference in the lives of ISD 182 students by providing
enriching opportunities that would not otherwise be available. Please do not
hesitate to contact Clark at 218-546-7244 if you have any questions.
GO, C-I, GO!
